We do allow early check-in and late check-out at no additional charge for RV sites. Simply check with guest service for more information.

We do have restrooms located in the middle of Section A, near Section B, and near Section E in the campgrounds. Please refer to the Campground Map for further detail.
Do you allow pets at the campgrounds?

How old do I have to be to make a reservation at Splashway Campground?
Guests must be at least 21 years old to reserve accommodations at Splashway Campground. We’ll ask to see a valid government-issued ID at check-in to verify your age. Reservations made by guests under 21 are subject to cancellation without refund.
Do you offer any type of discount for campers?
What happens if there is bad weather and we can not camp?
Will my reservation request guarantee a specific site or that I will get a reservation?
Preferred site locations are not guaranteed unless the site is locked during the booking process. A $10 site selection fee is incurred when choosing to lock a site to guarantee that specific location. If a site is not locked, it may be reassigned based on availability, operational needs, or to better accommodate guest spacing and campground logistics. If a change is necessary, our team will strive to place you in a comparable site.

- We love to have a great time. However, we are FAIR and FAITHFUL. We live by the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” – Luke 6:31. Translation: Respect your neighbors and we will all have a great time.
- Please note there is a 3-night minimum for holidays for all cabin, cottage and RV reservations.
- Please note that for weekends there is a 2-night minimum stay for RV Sites.
- Motorcycles, 3 Wheelers, 4 Wheelers, dirt bikes & go-carts are not allowed to be driven in the park area. Management reserves the right to ban any vehicles deemed dangerous, hazardous, or an annoyance to any guests.
- Planning your stay? Please note that you must be 21 or older to book a reservation at Splashway Campground! We’ll ask to see a valid ID when you check in. If you’re under 21, don’t worry — come stay with family or friends and make amazing memories together!
- Patrons are responsible for reading and complying with all posted and oral rules and warning signs throughout the campground. Failure to do so will be grounds for reservation cancelation and removal from Splashway Campground without a refund.
- By entering the campground, patrons assume all risks associated with being at a campground and participating in any activities for you, your family, and anyone in your party. Splashway is not responsible for accidents.
- By entering the campground, patrons agree that you are camping at your own risk. Splashway is not responsible for lost/stolen items or personal property damage.
- Welcome to a camping environment. There are bugs, reptiles, wildlife, and uneven terrain. Use caution.
- Unguarded pond on property. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Keep your children within your view at all times.
- The attractions and amenities associated with the campgrounds are for the use of campground guests unless otherwise specified. Others will be considered trespassing.
- By entering the campground property, patrons give Splashway permission to you and your family’s photo, video, and voice for training and marketing purposes without compensation.
- Respect your neighbors.
- Keep your music volume at a respectful volume.
- Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
- Please clean up after your pets. Do not leave pets unattended at your campsite. Pet owner assumes all risks and liability of pet. Pets must be up to date on all vaccinations.
- Use designated fire rings for campfires and obey warning signs of a burn ban.
- Distinguish fires when unattended.
- Splashway reserves the right to inspect your site and personal property and reject any items considered to be prohibited.
- No inappropriate behavior or offensive language on display, including but not limited to clothing, camping decor, vehicle displays, and flags. We Are Family!®
- Fireworks are NOT allowed.
- No drones or aerial displays.
- No clotheslines attached to trees or poles.
- You are responsible for the safety of your campsite.
- Tents used for shade or lodging, as well as any camping items, need to be properly secured so as not to cause harm to yourself or other patrons.
- Do not cut down or deface any trees or branches in the park.
- No hunting of any kind is allowed!
- Alcohol is allowed as per State of Texas Laws. Anyone drinking under the age of 21 or guests disturbing the peace of other campers will be escorted from the park and may face further penalty.
- Check-Out time is 2pm. Check-in time is 3pm for RV sites.
- Check-Out time is 11am. Check-in time is 3pm for all lodging.
- VEHICLE & DRIVER WARNINGS:
- No one under the age of 18 is allowed to drive a motorized or electric passenger vehicle on this property.
- The speed limit in the campgrounds is 5mph. Drive cautiously throughout the campground.
- Motorcycles, 3 Wheelers, 4 Wheelers, dirt bikes & go-carts are not allowed to be driven in the park area. Management reserves the right to ban any vehicles deemed dangerous, hazardous, or an annoyance to any guests.
- Campers may arrive on a motorcycle but are not permitted to ride the vehicle around the park.
- Do not operate any vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Personal carts must display a current permit and operators must complete waiver. - No loud vehicles!
- Non-electric vehicles are not permitted after 10:30pm. No cruising! Please keep driving to a minimum.
- Micromobility devices such as scooters, hoverboards, bicycles, etc., must be used under the supervision of an adult.
- 1 camping unit and 2 vehicles per site; extra vehicles and trailers must park in designated overflow locations.
- All visitors of guests with reservations must park in the camp store parking lot.
Guests of patrons are the responsibility of the patron and must follow the same rules. - No vehicles are allowed on hiking trails or bridges meant for pedestrian use.
- Some golf carts, mules and other small Recreational vehicles are permitted if they meet the requirements in our Recreational Vehicle Policy. They should be operated by a responsible, licensed adult and must have a steering wheel. Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to operate golf carts or RUV’s on Splashway Property. Recreational vehicles with loud mufflers or engines are not permitted to run after 10pm.
Welcome to Splashway RV Park and Campground in Sheridan, Texas and welcome to the woods! By camping with us you understand the “nature” of camping. We do not control the weather, the animals, the trees, the insects, or anything else in the wild. Splashway is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages to you or your possessions due to nature. In addition, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. It is important to take care of yourself, your family, and your belongings. Camp responsibly. While we do our best to accommodate you and maintain a beautiful park you must keep in mind that YOU ARE CAMPING and with it comes the beauty of God’s creations. On occasion, those creations can be a bit pesky. Simply, let us know and we will do all that we can to make your stay comfortable.
Advance Booking
We do allow booking up to one year in advance from the day you are booking the reservation. Please note: Guests currently staying in a particular site have first choice to re-book the same site for the following year based on a 52-week year calendar.
- Holiday reservations that shift annually are subject to a modified advance booking guideline. Current guests staying during these holidays will receive first priority booking for their same site for the same holiday in the following year.
- For Independence Day, reservations are date-specific from June 30th-July 5th. Guests wishing to re-book for Independence Day must re-book for the same dates in the following year.
Current guests have until check out to rebook. Any sites left available will be open to the public the following day. These guidelines are subject to change and based on management discretion.
Site Selection
Preferred site locations are not guaranteed unless the site is locked during the booking process. A $10 site selection fee is incurred when choosing to lock a site to guarantee that specific location. If a site is not locked, it may be reassigned based on availability, operational needs, or to better accommodate guest spacing and campground logistics. If a change is necessary, our team will strive to place you in a comparable site.
Cancellation Guidelines
More than One Week Prior
Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund issued back to the card on file.
Less than One Week Prior
Cancellations made less than 7 days from the arrival date will be held on file as credit to use for a future reservation.
- This credit is valid up to one year from the cancellation date.
- Any unused credit after one year will be forfeited.
No Shows
No Shows will be charged a $25 fee and will forfeit all money paid and will not be eligible for priority re-booking.
Group reservations are subject to a modified cancellation guideline as outlined in your booking agreement. All cancellations are subject to incur a cancellations or re-booking fee of $25. These guidelines are subject to change.
