Campfire Banana Boats:

  1. Ingredients: Bananas, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, aluminum foil.
  2. Instructions: Slice the bananas lengthwise, leaving the peel on. Fill the slit with chocolate chips and marshmallows. Wrap each banana tightly in foil and place them on the campfire coals for 5-10 minutes, until the chocolate and marshmallows are melted and gooey.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches:

  1. Ingredients: Bread, cheese slices, butter.
  2. Instructions: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Place a slice of cheese between two slices of bread, with the buttered sides facing out. Wrap the sandwich in foil and grill over the campfire or on a portable grill until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Walking Tacos:

  1. Ingredients: Individual bags of corn chips (e.g., Doritos), cooked taco meat, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream.
  2. Instructions: Cut open the top of each bag of corn chips. Let kids fill their bags with taco meat, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream, using the chip bag as a makeshift bowl. Mix everything together and enjoy with a fork or straight from the bag.

Campfire Quesadillas:

  1. Ingredients: Flour tortillas, shredded cheese, cooked chicken or beef strips, diced bell peppers, salsa (optional).
  2. Instructions: Place a flour tortilla on a piece of foil. Sprinkle cheese, cooked meat, bell peppers, and salsa (if using) over half of the tortilla. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Wrap the quesadilla tightly in foil and heat it over the campfire or on a grill until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.

Campfire S’mores Dip:

  1. Ingredients: Chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, graham crackers (for dipping).
  2. Instructions: Spread a layer of chocolate chips in the bottom of a cast-iron skillet. Top with a layer of mini marshmallows. Place the skillet over the campfire or on a grill, and heat until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are golden brown and gooey. Serve with graham crackers for dipping.
